Companies such as Konami , Square-Enix have not revealed their line-ups and those 2 companies are the companies that are publishing the games that I highly anticipate. Here's a list of the games that I highly anticipate at E3. I've included links to trailers/game footage so just click on the game names if you're interested to watch any.
Activision
Modern Warfare 2
Now without the "Call of Duty" branding(whatever it's just a name), you definitely won't go wrong with this game. I totally loved CoD4 : Modern Warfare despite its short campaign and multiplayer connectivity issues. The game pace and controls is just awesome. Which is why I hope KZ2 1.27 patch allows us to obtain that same sensitivity.Blur
Prototype
Not really anticipating actually. It seems to be a very uninspiring game. Nothing I've never seen i guess. Destroy everything with ease kinda game. They let u choose to go through the game in a stealth like manner or destroy everything. When you have the power to destroy everything, who wants to go stealth? It's even a waste of time for the studio that worked hard on tweaking the combat and its intensity. It's releasing on the last day of E3. Poison everyone at E3 and sell it off on the last day. Smart strategy eh!
EA Games
Army of Two : The 40th Day
Not much detail is given about it yet besides a trailer which shows Airplanes and helicopters crashing and no gameplay at all and that's why I'm interested in what they have to show at E3. Need for Speed : SHIFT
Need for Speed : Undercover was a failure and a total letdown because everyone expected it to be good since Pro Street was considered a failure as well. Hence, I'm really curious on how they intend to redeem themselves. Graphics are good enough but the entire game looks like a GRiD copy so far. Can't wait to see what it has to offer at E3!Capcom
Bayonetta
This is a game designed by Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya so the gameplay is familiar in various ways. He even expects the game to "Exceed" God Of War III so I'm expecting quite a lot from this game as well. Said to have around 12 hours playtime and with loads of contents, the game sounds very promising so far. Will this new game crush the DMC series? We'll have to wait and see! Konami
Metal Gear Solid
After teasing everyone with countdowns for almost 3weeks, Kojima finally revealed that a new Metal Gear Solid is in the works. Giving teaser pictures like the one shown here and hidden letters on the latest countdown, everyone is left to speculate about the game and many are already coming up with out of the box stories. Knowing Kojima, the story will never be what we expect! Best part is it'll be at E3! MGS4 was godly enough, now what!? SCE
White Knight Chronicles
I've already talked about this game before so not gonna say much. Just hoping that they'll reveal the release date at E3! The wait is killing me. Seriously. Massive Action Game a.k.a MAG
Promising battles up to 256 players, I wonder how they're going to pull it off. I mean Resistance 30 v 30 was shocking enough as there was hardly any lag, but 256?! Most probably they'll be spending a huge amount of money on dedicated servers and most prob it'll be ready by late 2010 and everyone's internet connection will be much better then. Oh well I'll wait for the reports on the hands-on of the game at E3 later on.God of War III
Another highly anticipated game, I'm not surprised if there's a playable demo of it at E3, or at least a live demo. The first 2 & Chain of olympus was nothing short of Epic & this will definitely be mind blasting(not mind blowing, anything can blow your mind!).Tecmo
Ninja Gaiden Sigma II
After being an exclusive for X360 for awhile, it finally followed Ninja Gaiden Sigma's footstep. It's going to be available later this year and I'm excited. With the new coop feature, I wonder how's it going to be like. I've never played a game of it's genre which offers coop. It's just too cool! The first one was fun enough, this will definitely be awesome. Especially when you have to face Liberty. Watch the trailer and you'll know what I mean.Naughty Dog
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
One of the highly anticipated games of 2009, with awesome looking graphics and gameplay so far, I'm sure everyone is dying to hear more about this game. With 4 player coop & 5v5 competitive, the replayability is going to be wicked. Sadly enough I haven't even touched Uncharted : Drake's Fortune yet. Tekken 6
Nothing much to say about this since it's been out in arcades for quite some time and they're taking their sweet time to port it! Let's hope it's worth the wait and hopefully a release date will be announced.Eidos Interactive
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Holy I almost forgot about this game. With top notch graphics and promising gameplay, I wonder what else they're going to show at E3. With The Joker, Bane, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy & many more as villains, it'll be one hell of a game.Square-Enix
Final Fantasy XIII / Versus XIII / Agito XIII
I'm just expecting the release date of this long awaited game as it already has a fixed 2009 release in Japan and 2010 in US. I'm really curious about Versus XIII as no gameplay footage is shown yet. Hopefully it'll be shown at E3. I'm totally not expecting a release date for Versus XIII at E3 because last time SE said FFXIII was going to be released in 2007/2008, but it still hasn't been released until now.Kingdom Hearts III
After poisoning everyone with the secret ending shown in Kingdom Hearts II, there was no other released footage since then(if I'm not mistaken). There wasn't much news either. I'm hoping they'll announce something at E3. I'm expecting a 2010 release since the footage was already made in KHII which means they've been working on it for quite some time.
Hmm.. That's about it I guess. I'm quite disappointed with Namco Bandai's game line-up for E3. There's no Tales of Vasperia which is supposed to be ported onto the PS3. I'm a Tales fan and I'm really looking forward to playing it on the PS3. Apart from that, Sony has not revealed much about E3. Most probably there'll be a PS3 price cut, news on PSP Go!, long awaited PS3 features and so on. I'm sure there'll be updates on Gran Turismo 5 and I'm hoping there'll be some out of the world jaw dropping announcements during E3! Oh shit, most probably they'll show us the new sixaxis controller!
Whatever it is, This year's E3 is going to be the best ever. The competition is freakin tight. A lot of good games are going to be shown there so I'm pretty sure everyone's doing their very best to prepare for it. This makes me even more excited! Most probably I'll be depressed after E3 because there'll be too many games to buy. SIGH! MONEY TREE WHERE ARE YOU?
I'd really love to attend E3. Never before seen or heard details of games unravel in front of you. Man, that hype is a potential killer I tell you. Imma be rich one day and attend E3 & the TGS! Shit, I'm dying to go to TGS. Japanese FTW!
Took me quite awhile to compile everything and I just realized that I'm looking forward to so many games! As if I have the cash to buy everything! Dayummm! Oh well, let's just wait and see! E3!
